We study the interactions of a kaon with the exotic states X(3872) and D_{s0}^(2317), assumed as D\bar D^ and DK molecules with I=0. Using the fixed-center approximation to the Faddeev equations, we compute the three-body scattering amplitudes, unitarized via the Lippmann-Schwinger equation. For both systems, we find narrow resonant structures below the respective thresholds (about 50 MeV and...
We perform an analysis of LQCD light - charmed (pseudoscalar) meson scattering data with UChPT for pion masses ranging from $m_\pi\simeq 230$~MeV till the SU(3) limit, $m_\pi\simeq 700$~MeV. We find two poles in the non-strange isospin $I=1/2$ sector that can be related to the experimental $D_0(2300)$ resonance. At the physical pion mass, the poles are located at...
The $K \Lambda$ interactions in coupled channels are investigate around the energy region of $N(1535)$ resonance through femtoscopic correlation functions within the Koonin-Pratt formalism, by means of which the $N(1535)$ resonance can be dynamically generated in the chiral unitary approach. Two-body scattering amplitudes are calculated using the chiral unitary approach, and the corresponding...
I will talk about a generalization of effctive range expansion with a left-hand cut due to the t- or u-channel exchange of a particle with a small finit mass. The generalization is constructed using the N/D method of dispersion theory and has a Pade-like form. The applicability will be shown by extracting the NNpi coupling from NN scattering phase shifts using this formalism.
Many excited mesons decay to three hadrons. Some of them are not even resonances but kinematic enhancements from three particles being on-shell in a triangle configuration. Other systems are dynamically generated from three-body interactions leading to resonance poles. Examples for these phenomena from phenomenology and lattice QCD is presented involving the $K(1460)$, $\pi(1300)$,...
Determination of the Roper resonance with two- and three-body unitarity
We study the effect of a finite volume for pion-pion scattering over energy levels and physical observables such as the phase-shift or pion mass. The method to determine the energy levels is done using a finite set of Crystal harmonics or the matrices which represents the Irreps properly, which expands our Inverse Amplitude Method, over a set of irreducible groups of rotations from the...
We revisit the description of femtoscopic correlation functions beyond the asymptotic wave-function approximation, quantifying corrections arising from the short-distance structure of the interaction potential and the finite size of the particle-emitting source. We further extend the formalism by cosistently incorporating Coulomb interactions at the short distances relevant for femtoscopy...
In this exploratory work we analyze the possible existence of a strangeness $S=-3$, isospin $I=1$ pentaquark state $P_{sss}$ generated dynamically from the $\bar{K}\Xi$ interaction. We employ a unitarized scheme in coupled channels based on the chiral Lagrangian expanded up to next-to-leading order (NLO), and show that the inclusion of the NLO terms can be crucial to provide the necessary...
