Travel Information

Plane:

• International Airport situated at 8 km west of the city
• Direct flights from main European cities
• GVA-VLC-GVA with Swiss (daily flight except Saturday) and Easyjet (Mon, Wed, Fri) in September
• Connecting flights at Zurich and Madrid with Swiss and Iberia
• Frequent transport to the city from the airport is available by:
  • Bus (line 150)
  • Metro (lines 3 or 5, note that Zone A tickets are not valid for the airport)
  • Taxi (if going from the airport to the city center, we recommend taking a taxi, around 20 minutes and 20 euros)

Train:

High-speed train connection is available between Madrid and Valencia (2 hours travel time, >10 daily trains), reaching train station “Estación Joaquín Sorolla” (nearby the central train station “Estación del Norte”). Several companies operate the route (Renfe AVE and Avlo, Ouigo, iryo).
