Europe/Madrid timezone

The goal of the workshop is gathering together well-renowned experts and younger colleagues working in the development of active stoppers for decay experiments to discuss the present status and possible future perspectives at fragmentation facilities.

The Workshop will consist of invited talks (25+5 min) and oral contributions (12+3 min).

TOPICS

Active Stoppers and ancillary detectors in fragmentation facilities

Electronics and DACQ

Sustainable operation (waveform processing, noise filtering, AI-based optimizations)

Decay experiments with Active Stoppers

New technologies and materials

ROUND TABLE

A round table promoting the exchange of ideas and collaboration among researchers will be organized. The discussion will approach current challenges and future perspectives in experiments using active stoppers and related detectors, new physics cases, applications, and funding opportunities.

FEE

The workshop fee is 30€ per person for coffee breaks. It can be paid at the registration desk on the 24th March.

We will also have a social dinner the evening of the 25th March. Participants willing to join the dinner will be requested to pay at the registration desk the 24th March. Approximate cost is 40€.
