We develop a Heat Kernel based formalism to compute the one-loop thermal effective action for dimensionally reduced 3D thermal EFT matching. Applying this to the Abelian Higgs model, we derive the effective operator basis up to dimension six, incorporating non-perturbative Polyakov loop effects. We discuss implications for cosmological phase transitions and the resulting gravitational wave spectrum.
