After a brief introduction to magnetic monopoles in non-Abelian gauge theories, we shall discuss the classical structure of their celebrated ‘t Hooft-Polyakov realization from the perspective of recent studies arXiv2602.14620 and arXiv:2606.02810. In these, a universal asymptotic background relevant to all non-BPS cases is identified via Borel-resummation  of the leading tower of asymptotic expansions of their profile functions, revealing an intriguing Borel-plane singularity structure. The corresponding perturbative series is then rearranged and partially resummed into a “universal global background” supporting even a uniformly convergent analytic functional expansion of all non-BPS monopole profiles for all radii. These findings are explicitly demonstrated at the maximally non-BPS setting for which the ratio of the quartic scalar coupling to the (square of the) gauge coupling goes to infinity; a perfect match to what is known about the local expansions of its profile at zero and infinite radii is achieved, along with simple analytic prescriptions for the locally inaccessible numerical parameters therein.
