6. Towards ILD geometry and reconstruction adaptation for FCC-ee Tera-Z: tau events as a benchmark

Adrian Irles (IFIC, CSIC-UV)

talk

The ILD detector concept, originally developed for the ILC, provides a valuable framework to explore detector and reconstruction performance at future lepton colliders. We present ongoing efforts to adapt the ILD geometry, reconstruction chain, and software tools to the FCC-ee environment, with particular emphasis on the Tera-Z running scenario and their integration within Key4hep. This work...

10. Z→τ⁺τ⁻ reconstruction and preliminary tau polarization studies at FCC-ee: ILD vs CLD

Olmo Arquero Peinazo (CIEMAT)

talk

This contribution compares the ILD and CLD detector concepts for FCC-ee, based on full simulation of e⁺e⁻→Z→τ⁺τ⁻ events (Pythia8, PandoraPFA). The study covers particle-level reconstruction performance (efficiency, purity, and resolution) as well as tau decay reconstruction across leptonic and hadronic channels. We further extend the comparison to a preliminary tau polarization analysis using...
