Electroweak precision beyond leading logarithms in the SMEFT 20m

Future electron–positron colliders will probe heavy new physics through precise electroweak measurements. I will present next-to-leading-logarithmic (NLL) predictions for electroweak precision observables in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory, combining one-loop electroweak matching with two-loop renormalization-group evolution. I will focus on interactions involving top quarks, whose effects on electroweak observables in some cases first appear at two loops. I will show how NLL contributions change the resulting constraints and introduce sensitivity to operators absent at leading-logarithmic order. Comparing current bounds with FCC-ee projections, I will also discuss the complementarity between electroweak precision measurements and top-quark production at the LHC.

Experimental prospects for quantum decoherence measurements at colliders 20m

Quantum entanglement is one of the defining features of quantum mechanics. In high-energy
colliders, quantum properties are experimentally accessible, the most important example being top
quark pair production at the LHC. This channel lead to the discovery of spin entanglement in 2024
        [1-2].
In this work [3], we study how energetic final-state radiation modifies the spin entanglement of fermion–antifermion pairs, and demonstrate that it can lead to measurable decoherence. The study is performed at parton level using simulations computed with MadGraph5_aMC@NLO, using t tbar g
and  tau+ tau- gamma production processes. The spin density matrix is reconstructed as a function of the
        FSR energy.
We conclude that a statistically significant observation of decoherence can be obtained with current
data in associated pp -> t tbar g production at the LHC and in e+e- -> tau+ tau- gamma production at Belle II. Future electron-positron colliders operating well above the t tbar g production threshold or at the Z pole, respectively, could further enable differential measurements of quantum entanglement as a function of the FSR energy.

Top-quark pair production sensitivity to heavy new physics at the FCC-ee 20m

We study the sensitivity of top-quark pair production at the FCC-ee to heavy new physics, parametrised
in the Standard Model effective field theory, using discriminants based on matrix elements. The
analysis includes detector reconstruction effects, obtained with a fast simulation of the IDEA detector
concept, and jet flavour tagging. We consider dimension-six operators that modify the electroweak
couplings of the top quark or generate four-fermion interactions, at leading order and
in diagrams with two resonant top quarks. The full six-body kinematic information is employed
to maximise the discrimination power against the Standard Model. Two bins per dimension in
the space of 12 discriminants, one per operator considered, provide a simple and robust methodology
to set nearly optimal multidimensional constraints. Bounds on the new physics scale can
reach values up to 30 TeV in a single-operator fit and up to 5 TeV in a global multi-operator fit. A
combination with High-Luminosity LHC prospects on top-quark operators shows complementary
sensitivities which help lift approximate degeneracies.

The bottom quark mass at high scale 20m

Measurements at electron-positron colliders can probe the scale evolution of quark masses predicted
by the Standard Model in several ways. LEP and SLD extracted mb(mZ) from three jet
        rates in Z -> b bbar
decay. A future Z-pole run can improve the precision considerably, while a measurement
of mb at higher scale is possible from e+e- -> b bbar
production at 250 GeV and above. A
very precise determination of mb(mH), with an uncertainty of 10s of MeV, can be achieved from
measurements of Higgs decay rates in the Higgs factory runs at
        sqrt(s) = 250 GeV and 550 GeV.
In this contribution, we present the state-of-the-art extraction of mb(mH) at the LHC, which is
measured by the ATLAS experiment to be 2.73+0.27
-0.25 GeV, and provide updated projections for the
HL-LHC and future colliders. We also present a proposal for an alternative methodology, where
mb(mH) and the bottom-quark Yukawa coupling are extracted simultaneously to provide a more
model-independent result, as well as projections for the sensitivity of such extraction in a future
        electron-positron collider.

New Physics Reach through Precision at Future Colliders 20m

I will present projections for the sensitivity of near-term electron-positron colliders, FCC-ee, LEP3,
and the Linear Collider Facility, to new physics through precision measurements of Standard
Model interactions. These projections are interpreted within three complementary frameworks of
increasing generality: Higgs coupling modifiers, effective Higgs and electroweak couplings, and
global SMEFT fits incorporating renormalisation-group evolution, linear and quadratic EFT contributions,
and NLO corrections where available. Matching the EFT description to UV-complete
models, I will show how these results translate into projected sensitivities to representative newphysics
scenarios, including composite Higgs models and single-particle extensions of the SM. The
talk will also introduce the accompanying public release of an updated SMEFiT framework, allowing
the community to reproduce, extend, and adapt these results.
