Thanks to the large branching ratio and good signal over background selection, Higgs and Di-Higgs final states including taus provide a solid tool to explore (Beyond)-Standard model physics. While being one of the last observed Higgs decay channels, since the LHC Run 2, Higgs to tau decays have been used in the ATLAS experiment to establish the Higgs Yukawa coupling and also probe the Higgs charge-parity conjugation and lepton flavour violation. Moreover, in combination with all other Higgs boson measurements, Higgs to tau decays provide among the strongest results for vector boson fusion and gluon fusion at high transverse momentum measurements. In the Di-Higgs sector, the final state in two b-quarks and two taus is also among the leading channels contributing to the Di-Higgs search. This seminar is aiming at reviewing the main measurements of Higgs and Di-Higgs to taus, highlighting the main analysis aspects and challenges, and including prospects towards HL-LHC.
