To remember Professor Antonio (Toni) Ferrer means to recall his drive, tenacity and remarkable ability to bring together scientists, engineers, technicians and administrators towards a common goal.

He has inspired many of us throughout our careers, trained generations of physicists of different "flavours". He was a great supporter of high energy physics, developed at IFIC and across Spain.

We wish to honor him not only a scientific tribute, but also in recognition of this kindness, enthousiasm and his distinctively Valencian outlook on life.
