Descripción

In a very successful experiment in 2015, we have identified the new 2p emitter 67Kr,
for which a follow-up experiment to study it with ACTAR TPC is accepted.
In the heavier region, new 2p emitters are expected. Potential candidates
are 70,71Sr, 74,75Zr, 78,79Mo. These nuclei would be best produced by projectile
fragmentation of a 92Mo beam, which is presently not available at RIBF.
What are the possibilities with a 124Xe beam compared to 92Mo?
Are other beams in between a possibility ?
These and other questions will be discussed.
