Unveiling the secrets of matter and light
The School is aimed at undergraduate students of Physics and other STEM degrees. Throughout the five days, the School will offer lectures, round tables, and various leisure and educational activities in an inclusive and participatory environment. In this edition, the School's programme will include invited lectures in the fields of Atomic, Nuclear and Particle Physics, and Optics, Optometry and Vision sciences, as well as contributions in other topics of Physics or related to it (Gender and Science, Physics and art work restoration, Physics and Medicine...) by young researchers, students from the Faculty and guest lecturers. There will also be time for participants to present their own contributions.
As an Erasmus school, the E3F also aims to open up to the European sphere and this year will be attended by physics teachers and students from the universities of Jyväskylä (Finland), Johannes Gutenberg (Mainz, Germany), Palermo (Italy) and Latvia (Riga, Latvia). Lectures will be given in English.
Undergraduate students of the Universitat de València and the European partner universities who participate in the School will be able to obtain 3 ECTS.
