Descripción

In this seminar I will review some of the Effective Field Theories which can be applied for meson-meson scattering. The combination of EFT's with unitarization/dispersive techniques can lead to dynamically generated resonances. Unitarized Chiral Perturbation Theory and the Inverse Amplitude Method are often used to describe the interaction between two pseudoscalar mesons. The Low-Energy-Constants which accompany mass dependence terms can be fixed with lattice data. The result for the latest analysis of LatticeQCD data of rho and sigma mesons are shown. In the second part of the talk I will discuss an EFT which include also vector mesons, the Hidden Gauge Formalism, which has been applied exhaustively for the description of several exotic states.
