IFIC Seminar: Lepton universality tests in b decays

Several deviations have been recently observed in b decays by BaBar, Belle and LHCb experiments. These so called b-anomalies, when combined, give some interesting hints of Lepton Flavour Universality Violation. I will give an overview of the current b-anomalies and discuss possible ways of disentangling the dierent NP solutions. I will start by discussing the situation for b→clν decays to then propose a robust test for tensor contributions [1]. Afterwards, I will tackle the b→sll transition, and discuss the NP scenarios of interest [2]. I will present some new ways of testing this transition through baryonic decays [3, 4] and propose a benchmark for some poorly constrained NP scenarios [5].
