Descripción

As with almost all of the world, brachytherapy is embracing Artificial intelligence to alleviate mental strain, reduce time and improve consistency. This talk will 1) review the workflow for high-dose-rate brachytherapy, including the role of AI; 2) discuss clinical AI-centric projects here and throughout the community, including discussion of our department's focus on sparse learning approaches to automated treatment planning and automated catheter digitization; and conclude with 3) potential regulatory concerns including AI classification as Software -as-a-Device.
