Severo Ochoa Seminar: Neutrinos in Astrophysics

por Irene Tamborra (Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen)

Seminar Room, 1.1.1 (IFIC)

Seminar Room, 1.1.1

Paterna (Valencia)

Neutrinos are key particles in a wide range of astrophysical   sources. Neutrinos affect the stellar dynamics, drive the  formation  of new elements, and carry information about the  physics of the most  energetic events in our Universe. Recent  developments on the role of  neutrinos in cosmic sources will be  reviewed. The neutrino detection  perspectives will also be  outlined.
