In this work, we present one construction involving the 3-3-1 model with heavy leptons plus an abelian factor with charge B-L. The major characteristic of this class of models: the relation between the number of families and the chiral anomalies cancellation, is mantained when the anomalies associated with the BL charge are too included. Some implications about the phenomenology of the model in the context of the LHC are discussed.
