Descripción
The production of two jets strongly separated in rapidity (Delta y >> 1) was suggested as an ideal tool to study the Regge limit of perturbative Quantum ChromoDynamics in proton-proton (or proton- antiproton) collisions. At alpha_s Delta y >= 1 the cross sections of the partonic subprocesses receives large higher-order corrections  ~alpha_s^n (Delta y)^n , which can be accounted for in the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov (BFKL) approach. In particular, we calculated the jet vertex at next-to-leading-order which is relevant for the study of Mueller-Navelet jets. Using the approximation of small aperture of the jet cone in the pseudorapidity-azimuthal angle plane, we determined several observables related with the this process, including also subleading effects generated by renormalization group (RG) analysis.
