Descripción
First a review is presented of the performance of the Goldstone-boson-exchange relativistic constituent-quark model found so far. In this context we address llight- and strange-baryon spectroscopy as well as electroweak form factors of the nucleons and other baryon ground states. Comparisons are made to experimental data, lattice-QCD results, and to predictions of other quark models. Subsequently we discuss the extension of the relativistic constituent-quark model to heavy baryons, where special attention is paid to finding the appropriate interaction between light-heavy as well as heavy-heavy flavours.
