SUMMARY:Baryon Properties in a Relativistic Constituent-Quark Model

DESCRIPTION:First a review is presented of the performance of the Goldston
 e-boson-exchange relativistic constituent-quark model found so far. In thi
 s context we address llight- and strange-baryon spectroscopy as well as el
 ectroweak form factors of the nucleons and other baryon ground states. Com
 parisons are made to experimental data\, lattice-QCD results\, and to pred
 ictions of other quark models. Subsequently we discuss the extension of th
 e relativistic constituent-quark model to heavy baryons\, where special at
 tention is paid to finding the appropriate interaction between light-heavy
