Descripción
I discuss charged Lepton Flavor Violating processes using an Effective Field Theory model-independent approach. In the first part of the talk I will discuss how the observation of mu -> e gamma and mu -> e conversion in nuclei will provide in the future a powerful discrimination tool among TeV scale Standard Model extensions. In the second part of the talk I will review predictions of Minimal Flavor Violation for charged LFV processes, emphasizing the role of mu -> e gamma versus tau -> mu gamma as probes of flavor breaking sources.
