DESCRIPTION:I discuss charged Lepton Flavor Violating processes using an E
ffective Field Theory model-independent approach. In the first part of the
talk I will discuss how the observation of mu -> e gamma and mu -> e conv
ersion in nuclei will provide in the future a powerful discrimination tool
among TeV scale Standard Model extensions. In the second part of the talk
I will review predictions of Minimal Flavor Violation for charged LFV pro
cesses\, emphasizing the role of mu -> e gamma versus tau -> mu gamma as p
 robes of flavor breaking sources.\n\nhttps://indico.ific.uv.es/event/1759/
