Formation of meson-nucleus bound states

In this seminar, we will study the nuclear reactions for the formation of meson-nucleus bound systems, which have been developed as new spectroscopic methods to investigate the in-medium hadron properties. The (d,3He) and (gamma,p) reactions for the formation of deeply bound pionic atoms, and other meson-nucleus bound systems will be reported. The meson bound states formation for beta-unstable halo nuclei is also discussed.
