DESCRIPTION:In this seminar\, we will study the nuclear reactions for the 
 formation of meson-nucleus bound systems\, which have been developed as ne
 w spectroscopic methods to investigate the in-medium hadron properties. Th
 e (d\,3He) and (gamma\,p) reactions for the formation of deeply bound pion
 ic atoms\, and other meson-nucleus bound systems will be reported. The mes
 on bound states formation for beta-unstable halo nuclei is also discussed.
