Symplectic integrators in Quantum Mechanics

Symplectic integrators are numerical methods for solving differential equations. These methods preserve most of the qualitative properties of the exact solution and present small error growth. In this talk we will apply these new technique for the numerical solution of the Schroedinger equation.
