Perturbative calculations with heavy quarks: new methods and results

Recently the first results have been obtained for 2-loop corrections to charged particle decays: t-->Wb and semileptonic b-->c transitions. Applications to the V_{cb} determination will be presented. Also the leading electroweak corrections to b-->s+gamma will be discussed. Techniques of such calculations will be described, including methods of computing Feynman diagrams such as eikonal and threshold expansions. These methods are applicable to the description of production, scattering, and decays of heavy quarks. Further applications and open questions will be discussed, in particular in the bound state problems of QCD and QED.
