Descripción
Compton cameras are emerging as an interesting tool in medical imaging. The IRIS group of IFIC has been working on such systems for 20 years and has developed several prototypes with different types of detectors. The group currently coordinates the European project AIDER for developing a clinical system and testing it with patients. The main results achieved in the projects MIDAS and ICOR and the work currently ongoing will be presented.
