Descripción

This poster presents the measurement of the inclusive cross-section for the single top t-channel process. This process has the highest cross section in the single top family and involves a special final state with a light jet in the forward region of the detector. The cross section is measured using data recorded by CMS in 2022 and 2023, with a total luminosity of 62 $fb^{-1}$ and a centre-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV. The analysis uses events with exactly one lepton, two or more jets, and at least one jet identified as originating from a b quark, along with a multivariate analysis technique involving a deep neural network to exploit the process's unique final state and extract the cross section.
