Description

A Dark Sector coupled weakly to the Standard Model may contain solutions to fundamental problems, such as the microscopic nature of Dark Matter or the dynamics underlying electroweak symmetry breaking. In the first part of the talk I argue that the heaviest particles of the Standard Model, the Higgs boson and the top quark, could serve as portals to access the Dark Sector with upcoming data from collider and Dark Matter experiments. In the second part of the talk I show that, even if gravity is the sole portal, measuring precisely the Large Scale Structure of the Universe is going to enable sensitive tests of the Dark Sector dynamics.
