Description
There are indications in particle physics as well as in cosmology that underlying theories are scale invariant. All the masses (or mass gaps) including the Planck mass are spontaneously generated in scale invariant models, and a set of scalar fields, which enter cosmic inflation, are commonly involved. In such multi-field systems of inflation, the inflationary parameters may have a large initial-value-dependence, and moreover slow-roll conditions are likely violated in certain directions in the field space. We consider a particular conformally extended model, showing how the initial-value-dependence is suppressed and how to use δN formalism for computing the inflationary parameters including the non-Gaussianity parameter despite the violation of the slow-roll conditions.
