The treatment of CP violation in baryogenesis models with quasi-degenerate neutrinos and its implementation in transport equations is not trivial and has actually been discussed over several decades. In this talk we discuss different  approaches for determining the generation of lepton asymmetry during production and decay of quasi-degenerate neutrinos.
