Descripción

I will provide an overview of my research, which aims to revolutionize our understanding of fundamental physics through the use of the most powerful cosmological galaxy surveys. This includes the cold dark matter, dark energy, and massive neutrinos, which together constitute over 95% of the energy content of the Universe. In order to achieve this, I will perform self-consistent combined analyses of the two most powerful probes of the dark Universe: weak gravitational lensing and galaxy clustering. By considering the different cross-correlations of these observables from overlapping photometric and spectroscopic surveys, I will simultaneously improve the statistical constraining power, uncover residual systematic uncertainties, more robustly assess cosmic tensions, and discover new physics. As a Ramón y Cajal Fellow, I am uniquely suited to spearhead this research through my leading roles in the most powerful cosmological galaxy surveys (Euclid, LSST, KiDS, DESI) and the onset of their unprecedented data during the next several years. I will highlight how this research would favorably position IFIC at the forefront of the expected future discoveries and the strong synergies it enables with its existing research activities.
