We discuss the b->svv modes and related decays, in the context of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory and the under the General Minimal Flavour Violation Hypothesis. We show the correlations in this framework for b->svv, s->dvv and b->sl+l- modes, and we discuss how the recent measurement of the B->Kvv branching fraction by the Belle II experiment, in tension with the SM prediction (2.8 sigma), affect these hypotheses. We then discuss the possible NP structures that could account for the observed deviation.
