As a follow up of a previous seminar and journal club on this topic, our colleague Guilherme Tello will discuss the claims from 2001.07152 regarding the absence of CP violation in the strong interactions. A simple quantum mechanical model whose topological properties can be solved analytically will be considered. The analytical results will be then compared with the lattice predictions obtained using the usual order of limits and the order proposed in 2205.15093 which would allegedly lead to complete θ-independence of the QCD spectrum.
