Descripción

Applications of neutrino detection have long been the domain of pure science fiction, but recent advances in detection technology and a growing understanding of the information contained in the flux of neutrino from nuclear reactors are on the verge of making this science fiction a reality.  This talk will focus the CHANDLER Reactor Neutrino Detector Technology, discussing recent results and future prospects.  It will examine potential applications of this technology to nuclear safeguards and reactor instrumentation, as well as applications to basic physics, such as sterile neutrino searches.
