I will discuss the connections among high pt tails from LHC measurements and low energy physics in regard of possible effects from new physics. The discussions are mainly motivated by b-anomalies and the possible models that could contribute to these processes in the standard model. We will finally present some perspective towards possible improvements in order to obtain more restrictive limits and additional processes enter in the game.
