Our colleagues Toni Pich and Alberto Ramos will discuss the Standard Model determination of the muon anomalous magnetic moment, one of the hottest topics in the particle physics community. In particular, they will focus on the hadronic contributions, which are the most difficult to calculate and subject of controversy. Toni will discuss the data-driven approach, while Alberto will review the status of lattice-QCD calculations.
