In this talk, I will present the neutral meson mixing phenomena and explain why it is interesting to study them. Then, I will introduce the powerful theoretical techniques used to calculate the amplitudes associated with this type of process. Finally, I will show the numerical constraints obtained for a quite generic new physics model.
