Most of us associate neutrinos with the BSM searches. In this talk, however, I will explore a different aspect of neutrino physics: their interactions with nuclei, in the energy range covered by long-baseline experiments. Firstly, I will motivate why this kind of physics is being studied. Then I will introduce main concepts used in this field and present some of facing challenges.
