Everyone is excited about the B-physics anomalies. But the correct interpretation of current experimental data on rare semileptonic B decays requires the correct determination of the so called "non-local" contributions. I will tell you what these contributions are, why they matter, why you should care, my recent attempt to address this issue, and why the prospects are good.
