Abstract: Anomalies in B to D(*) tau nu, B to pi pi and KK, and b to s mu
mu induced decays, have been reported recently. A lot of theoretical efforts have been made to understand these anomalies involving new physics beyond the standard model. I will review some of the theoretical ideas trying to provide
explanations for these anomalies.
