NA62 is a fixed target at CERN SPS designed to measure the branching ratio of the K+ -> pi+ nubar nu with a 10% precision.Any deviation from the SM prediction makes this branching ratio extremely sensitive to BSM contributions. Besides this "golden" channel, NA62 experiment is also well adapted tolook for other BSM phenomena as the search of Heavy Neutral Leptons or Lepton Flavor/Lepton Number violation in K decays.
In this seminar the performances of the experimental apparatus will be outlined and the first results obtained with the analysis of the 2015 and 2016 data will be presented. The expected physics performance and the future operation modes of the beam line and the detector will be also discussed.
