At the IRIS group the computing tasks are two folded. We perform Monte--Carlo simulations for advancing the capabilities of our devices. We also develop dedicated software for Image Reconstruction to exploit at maximum the imaging capabilities of these devices. For the MC simulations we have used GEANT4, and currently we mainly use the GATE toolkit, a GEANT4-based macro language. For the image reconstruction we are developing a flexible and general purpose code based on C++. Currently, the main computational effort is being directed to the image reconstruction of our Compton Telescope. For our computational tasks we mainly rely on our three servers.
