The inclusion of electroweak (EW) corrections in the context of perturbative calculations is a very active research field in these days. Recent computations show that EW contributions could introduce non-negligible deviations in several observables, specially in the high-energy region. In this talk, we briefly explain the techniques used to compute the QCD-QED corrections beyond the leading order. In particular, we discuss the generalization of the qt-subtraction/resummation formalism to deal with QED radiation. After that, we center in the phenomenological impact for two benchmark processes: diphoton production and Drell-Yan. Several subtleties arise due to the presence of photon radiation. Moreover, this processes become sensible to the photon PDF, which gives an insight to photon content of the hadrons.
