In this talk, we review recent results in the computation of higher-order electroweak corrections to the Altarelli-Parisi kernels. Explicitly, we obtain ${\cal O}(\alpha \, \alpha_S)$ and ${\cal O}(\alpha^2)$ contributions through the application of an Abelianization algorithm to previously known ${\cal O}(\alpha_S^2)$ terms. Besides this, we extended DGLAP evolution equations to deal with photon and lepton PDFs. In particular, non-negligible effects could manifest in photon PDFs because of the introduction of novel kernels beyond leading-order QED contributions. This will have a deep phenomenological impact in actual and forthcoming measurements.
