Searching for exotic hadrons is a central topic in the study of hadron spectroscopy. There have been many candidates such as the X(3872), Zc(3900) and the very recent pentaquark-like structures reported by LHCb. Many of these structures are close to certain thresholds, which resulted in models explaining some of them as kinematic threshold effects. In order to identify them as exotic hadrons, we need to exclude such a possibility. We will demonstrate that some XYZ states cannot be purely kinematic effecs, while the Pc(4450) is compatible with kinematic effects from the rescattering from chi_{c1} p --> J/\psi p. In order to check whether that structure corresponds to a real exotic resonance, we suggest to measure the process Lambda_{b} --> K \chi_{c1} p.
