Descripción
Neutrinos in core-collapse supernovae propagate in dense media and strong magnetic fields. These exceptional physical conditions do not only change the flavor oscillations of neutrinos, they might also give rise to new effects like helicity oscillations and pair creation. In this seminar I will focus on these new effects. I discuss their importance for core-collapse supernovae and certain conceptual issues that remain open.
