Kate Shaw is the Outreach Coordinator for the ATLAS Experiment at the
Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva. Dr Shaw overseas the
development of educational tools and resources for outreach activities
aimed at students and teachers, and develops the communication
strategy for ATLAS ensuring the general public, media and policy
makers are well informed about the cutting edge physics and technology
being driven by the ATLAS Experiment. Dr Shaw is also an Ambassador
for the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, where she
promotes physics research in developing countries.
