Descripción
The recent discovery of a bosonic field at the LHC, presumably the Higgs, is increasing the interest of researchers in high energy physics towards the era of high precision calculations and measurements. The exact determination of the observables at such accuracy is crucial to confirm or discard any attempt to discover physics of the standard model or beyond. Hadron collisions are well described in the frame of quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) and the observables which are calculable perturbatively within QCD have singularities that have to be controlled using non perturbative objects in order to be compared with the experimental data. In this talk, I will present how to extract the non perturbative fragmentation functions by fitting globally the available data sets.
