Descripción
LINCE (Linac European Centre) project consists of a new high-intensity, light- and heavy-Ion accelerator in Huelva, Spain. The facility gathers the nuclear physics community needs for a dedicated facility for stable ion beams around the Coulomb barrier (ECOS) as well as applications, which need beams at energies around 10A MeV. The seminar will focus on the physics topics related to the project and the accelerator design, including the new superconducting ECR, a compact RFQ and the superconducting cavities.
