What is the effect of cosmic environment on halo formation/evolution? I will present a recently developed simulation technique that allows us for the first time to directly relate halo properties to their environment. I will discuss our first results and future directions using this new promising approach. I will also present novel interactive visualization techniques applied to astronomy.
